Description

Hi, I’m Ivana. I’m a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist, and I work with people who carry trauma, loss, or emotional patterns that feel hard to shift, especially when these experiences are layered with migration, cultural transition, or feeling “in between” places. Many of my clients are expats who appear to be coping on the outside but feel overwhelmed, lonely, or disconnected on the inside. My aim is to offer a calm, steady space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin to heal at your own pace.
I spent almost ten years working across the MENA region and other international contexts, supporting individuals navigating identity, belonging, and the emotional impact of cross‑cultural life. These experiences shaped my commitment to therapy that is trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive, and grounded in authenticity and mutual respect.
I use practical, evidence‑based methods to help you understand your emotions, break old patterns, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself. I also train and supervise therapists and work as a cultural mediator. I co‑founded Apsiha, a centre dedicated to warm and inclusive psychological support.
